Description
Gary Eller grew up in North Dakota, lived in Alaska, where he worked as a pharmacist, and began writing seriously when to his astonishment, he realized he’d become middle-aged. Eller studied at the Iowa Writer’s Workshop, graduating in 1989. His fiction has appeared in several publications, and he is the winner of the 1993 River City Short Fiction Award. Eller is nearing completion on a long novel set in Alaska. He lives in Ames, Iowa, with his wife, Marianne Malinowski, and their black cats.
